Under Section 1155.003 – Tonya Barina, Guardian of Charlie Thrash’s estate, is entitled to a minimum of 5% of all assets she sells of Charlie’s (and she need not consult Charlie, nor follow his wishes prior to selling his belongings.)
Additionally, Tonya is entitled to a minimum of 5% of all income to Charlie’s estate, so any leases, rentals, mortgages, payments, premiums, annuities, or any other income to Charlie, Tonya gets to keep 5% of Charlie’s income, for herself.
Amazingly the law implies without stating, that 95% of a Ward’s total assets are available to pay the court-appointed Guardian of the Person, and all the attorneys who represent the Guardian of the Person and the Guardian of the Estate (the money.)
